International Cooperation Manager

This position is for passionate, creative, diplomatic, rigorous and committed professionals, looking for a high value-added mission, in a tight, agile team, recognized for its expertise and based in Paris.

Offer details

The International Institute for Nuclear Energy (I2EN) is looking for a professional to join a fast-growing team on a human scale.

Created in 2010 at the request of the French government, I2EN is the preferred point of entry for countries wishing to benefit from French expertise in nuclear training. Your mission will be to develop tailor-made international cooperation programs, forge strategic partnerships and promote the I2EN quality label, which has become a benchmark in Europe and beyond.

You will be involved in an ecosystem of excellence: Master’s degree in nuclear engineering taught in English, international summer schools, master classes for decision-makers, industrial immersion programs. Your action will contribute to structuring long-term teaching and training capacities, creating a local source of skills that are essential to the success of electronuclear programs.

A unique geopolitical context

The European Nuclear Alliance now unites 14 member states around a common ambition: to make nuclear power a pillar of Europe’s strategic autonomy. Small modular reactors (SMRs) open up new markets. Partnerships are multiplying – with Indonesia, Slovenia, Canada and the Netherlands – creating an unrivalled network of influence.

You will represent I2EN in these European and international bodies, at the heart of the decisions that will shape the nuclear industry of tomorrow. You will win calls for tender from European organizations, positioning France and I2EN as a key strategic partner. You will help to identify, evaluate and mobilize the funding and subsidies available from international institutions to support I2EN’s value proposition.

What we offer

A position with a direct impact on French and European energy sovereignty. Exceptional international visibility. The opportunity to build lasting diplomatic and industrial relations. A close-knit, agile team, recognized for its expertise, based in Paris. The opportunity to participate in the standardization of a quality label that will set the standard worldwide, and in the development of tailor-made Human Capacity Building (HCB) support programs for countries wishing to create or strengthen their civil nuclear capacity.

You will be at the crossroads of diplomacy, industry and training, serving one ambition: to reinforce France’s position as a trusted partner for nations choosing civil nuclear power.
