The Institute's mission is to provide newcomer countries and countries wishing to expand their reactor fleets with the best training solutions to meet their needs for qualified personnel. In this way, I2EN assists and guides these countries in the development of their own nuclear education systems. The Institute shares best practices in human capacity building with these countries, to help them implement their nuclear power programs.
To this end, the I2EN provides its target countries with a number of tools, including an electronic database of French nuclear training courses, a training memento, a brochure presenting the French export training offer, and above all a pool of nuclear training experts.
The International Institute for Nuclear Energy (I2EN) sets itself apart by offering countries aspiring to develop or strengthen their nuclear power production state-of-the-art education and training for human resources development.
Through active collaboration, I2EN helps these countries to build up their own training capacities. To meet this mission, I2EN identifies and coordinates the best solutions proposed by France, and shares practices through a solid network of leading universities, prestigious engineering schools and partnerships with the French nuclear industry.
