Executive Committee
The I2EN is a non-profit association established under the French Law of 1901. This legal framework is the French equivalent of a non-profit organization, similar to a U.S. 501(c)(3) or a UK charity, meaning its purpose is to serve a public interest—in this case, advancing nuclear energy education and training.
The organization’s executive governance is provided by a Board, which serves as the executive committee. This committee consists of a non-executive Chair, a Treasurer, and an Executive Director (CEO). Together, this structure ensures a clear division of roles: the Chair provides strategic leadership and public representation, the Treasurer manages all financial matters, and the Chief Executive Officer oversees day-to-day operations.
