At its Expert Committee strategy seminar, I2EN redefined its objectives, launched the I2EN Prize to promote academic excellence, and renewed its Expert Committee, reinforcing its position as a driving force for nuclear training.
With this strategic seminar, I2EN has set a new milestone in its reorientation by redefining certain objectives and proposing innovative developments, focusing on value creation and outreach. The I2EN Prize was launched in 2024. Designed to celebrate theacademic excellence and international dimension of students on I2EN-accredited courses, the award aims to promote outstanding talent and strengthen the label’s reputation on the international stage. The official presentation of the award will take place at an event organized by I2EN, illustrating the institute’s commitment to supporting future industry leaders.
In addition, a significant renewal of the committee of experts has been agreed, responding to the need to introduce new skills and diversify the committee’s composition. This change is crucial to maintaining the balance between academic knowledge and industrial needs, and to guaranteeing varied perspectives.
It goes without saying that I2EN’s Committee of Experts plays an essential role in ensuring the quality of our training courses. Their expertise in various fields, from design to nuclear safety, is a major asset for I2EN. Their commitment testifies to their determination to maintain and raise the standards of nuclear education in France and beyond. This is reflected in the award of the I2EN Label, a genuine guarantee of the quality of our training courses. The label already enjoys international recognition, and a number of initiatives have been proposed to raise its profile and meet the specific recruitment needs of industry , underlining the importance of continually adapting training courses to international requirements. In addition, the label renewal process was reviewed, with some courses validated and others requiring further information, ensuring continued support for academic excellence.
