About us

France Universités is a key institution in the French higher education landscape. It brings together all French universities to promote their common interests. France Universités’ main mission is to represent French universities, defend their positions, and contribute to the development of public policies in higher education and research.

Through its services, France Universités supports universities in their pedagogical and scientific development, promotes innovation and the professional integration of students, and encourages both national and international student mobility. It also provides a forum for dialogue and consultation, enabling member institutions to share best practices and common issues. Internationally, France Universités plays an active role in strengthening cooperation between French and foreign universities. It works towards international recognition of degrees and promotes the attractiveness of French higher education worldwide.

In collaboration with the International Institute of Nuclear Energy (I2EN), France Universités contributes to the excellence of training in the nuclear field. Together, they are developing specific educational programs and collaborative research initiatives dedicated to nuclear energy. The alliance also promotes international exchanges, strengthening the influence and competitiveness of French expertise in this strategic sector.
