Why become a member?

By joining I2EN, you’ll be at the heart of the nuclear industry’s strategic activities and the nuclear skills needed for tomorrow. You’ll benefit from privileged access to information on current and future projects, facilitating your active participation in their direction. Your voice will count during deliberations, and your contribution will directly influence the direction of the sector. So becoming a member of the International Institute for Nuclear Energy (I2EN) represents a unique opportunity to shape the future of our industry.

As a member, you will sit on the I2EN Board of Directors and General Meeting, two major decision-making bodies. Every vote is important, and the influence of your voice will depend on your commitment and financial contribution, in accordance with the association’s statutes.

I2EN will open the doors to its dynamic and influential international network. As a member, you will strengthen the representation of the industry within an association that currently includes ten members and some forty academic partners, all of whom are key players in the nuclear sector. I2EN will offer you unique opportunities through its participation in working groups of major international institutions such as the IAEA, OECD-NEA and WNA. This solid network will enable collaboration with other players in industry and research, as well as with national and international agencies.

Membership of the I2EN also guarantees privileged access to prestigious international delegations and high-quality training courses organized by the I2EN. By becoming a member, you’ll be among the first to be asked to contribute to these training courses or take part in delegations, putting you at the forefront of the industry. These opportunities will increase your company’s international recognition and visibility, particularly in strategic countries with which I2EN has partnerships.

Finally, the I2EN offers you priority access to a pool of students looking for an internship or a first job. Thanks to its worldwide reputation and website, the I2EN will circulate your offers. Your company will also have access to students from the best schools around the world, thanks to I2EN’s partnerships with their prestigious universities.

In short, joining I2EN enables industrialists and institutions to benefit from international opportunities, integrate a solid professional network, increase their recognition in the nuclear sector, and actively contribute to the strategic development of human resources essential to our industry.

I2EN is an association governed by the law of July 1, 1901. Any legal entity may be approved as a Member by the Board of Directors. Admission must be proposed by the High Commissioner for Atomic Energy, Chairman of I2EN, or by a Member.

How to become a Member

Membership applications are first discussed with the I2EN Executive Director, then formally addressed to the association’s President by any means. The application must be accompanied by a letter detailing your contributions, priorities and expectations.
