About I2EN
The International Institute for Nuclear Energy (I2EN) is looking for a professional to join our growing team. Founded in 2010 at the request of the French government, the I2EN plays an important role in promoting French nuclear expertise internationally. Our mission is to support and export nuclear training programs, helping to strengthen France’s position as a trusted partner in the development of this energy.
The I2EN executive team (6-8 people) is moving into new premises and modernizing its IT infrastructure and digital communications. In this context, I2EN is looking for an intern to help set up this infrastructure, develop the Institute’s website and strengthen its digital communications. You will be directly involved in this project, at the heart of a technical, international and strategic environment.

Main tasks
Infrastructure & cybersecurity
You will participate in the creation of a secure infrastructure in an environment with high requirements in terms of trust and confidentiality.
- Design, install and configure the internal computer network: router, switch, firewall, NAS, wifi, VPN
- Set up data backup and security mechanisms
- Ensure the reliability and security of access and services
- Document and automate key configurations
Evolution of the I2EN website
- Develop the I2EN website: new pages, structuring, ergonomics
- Search engine optimization (SEO)
- Develop online registration forms for training courses and events
- Suggest improvements to user experience and performance
Digital communication
- Rethink the I2EN newsletter (content, format, segmentation, impact)
- Contribute to the communication of international events
- Contribute to the overall coherence of the Institute’s digital communications
Profile required
- Master’s or engineering school student, specializing in IT, networks, cybersecurity, web development or digital communications
- Desired technical skills :
- Computer networks (router, firewall, VPN, NAS)
- Systems administration (Windows/Linux/Mac)
- Web development (WordPress, SEO)
- Digital communication tools (newsletter, mailing)
- Good level of written and spoken English (working in an international environment)
- Good writing skills and a flair for graphic design are a plus
- Autonomy, rigor, curiosity and initiative
