For nearly 60 years, starting with the commissioning of the Marcoule plant in 1959, followed by the Chinon nuclear power plant that began commercial operation in 1963, the French nuclear stakeholders, from research, education, construction, operation, and decommissioning, have developed valuable experience and expertise recognized worldwide.
