NUCLEAR TRAINING AT THE UNIVERSITY OF NÎMES

Professional Degree

The 3D+ professional degree (dismantling, asbestos removal, decontamination and waste) aims to train experts in charge of business in the fields of dismantling, asbestos removal and demolition of nuclear or chemical industrial installations as well as in the treatment, conditioning, storage and warehousing of industrial, mining, household, or nuclear waste.

The Master Degree

The Master in Environmental Risks and Nuclear Safety focuses on the management and control of environmental risks in order to ensure safety and security in the nuclear field. With the support of professionals and a transdisciplinary teaching team, the training, which is alternated in M2, is a real stepping stone for professional integration.

Research

The university is also developing a high quality research programme, centred around two key areas, namely risk sciences and social design. Through these two unifying themes, the teams propose interdisciplinary approaches, now recognised by the economic and academic world, including internationally.
