Ministry for Europe & Foreign Affairs
The Ministry for Europe and Foreign Affairs has two main objectives:
- Design and conduct a foreign policy while ensuring the coherence of the country’s international relations;
- Protect and promote French interests abroad.
It has, on the other hand, the responsibility of promulgating peace, solidarity, security and human rights in the world. It also supports French companies and serves to share French know-how.
Finally, it promotes the establishment of foreign investment in France, always with a view to consultation with the ministries concerned.
The ministry and the I2EN
The I2EN’s partner is the DGE (General Directorate for Enterprises) which develops and implements public policies relating to industry, the digital economy, tourism, trade, crafts and services. This partnership was created in 2014 with the aim of exporting French knowledge and skills in the field of the nuclear industry abroad.
In particular, it makes it possible to optimize the growth of companies in the sector and develop their competitiveness. Because, if France raises its training and R&D offer on international markets, it must, if it wishes to stand up to its competitors (among others, Asian and American), demonstrate innovation and develop increasingly integrated offers. . The partnership thus boosts competitiveness, innovation, and development both nationally and internationally.
