THE CONFERENCE OF UNIVERSITY PRESIDENTS: SERVING UNIVERSITIES
The Conference of University Presidents (CPU) was formed in 1971 and has been a not-for-profit association since 2008. Its members are the heads of France’s 74 universities, three technology universities, three polytechnics, four Ecoles Normales Supérieures and all higher education consortia. The CPU therefore has 124 members throughout France, and through its links with government bodies and schools represents the majority of French higher education, research and innovation stakeholders.
