Henri Safa elected as a new member of the ENEN Board of Directors.
The General Assembly of the European Nuclear Education Network (ENEN) was held on 6 March 2020 in Brussels, Belgium. A new board of directors was elected. The ENEN Board of Directors also elected its new president, Joerg Starflinger, Executive Director of the Institute of Nuclear Technology and Energy System (IKE) of the University of Stuttgart. The I2EN Director, Henri Safa, was also elected as a new member of the ENEN Board of Directors. He is the only member from France and will be representing the I2EN and INSTN in this body.
Also, the General Assembly approved the organization of the ENEN’s PhD Event in 2020. It is to be held in conjunction with the forthcoming NESTet conference. NESTeT is organized by the European Nuclear Society with the support of the European Commission’s Joint Research Centre and is scheduled for 2021.
